A lifelong member of the Liberal Party of Canada, Frank served as a Member of Parliament for Pierrefonds–Dollard from 2015 to 2019, where he championed equity and inclusion as a founding member of the Parliamentary Black Caucus. As Chair of the Canada-United Kingdom Inter-Parliamentary Association, he contributed to strengthening international relations between Canada and the United Kingdom.

Born in Montreal in 1962 to Gloria and Richard Baylis, Frank draws deep inspiration from his mother’s trailblazing journey. Gloria, a nurse and human rights pioneer, courageously fought against racial discrimination in Canada, setting a powerful example of resilience and justice.

An electrical engineer and Executive Chairman of Baylis Medical Technologies, Frank has revolutionized healthcare through life-saving medical devices, culminating in the company’s landmark $1.75 billion sale to Boston Scientific in 2022. The dozens of patents he holds in medical devices that are used to improve the lives of people around the world are a testimony to his ingenuity.

In 2004, Frank launched For the Children with a mission to improve education for underprivileged youth. This initiative evolved into the Gloria Baylis Foundation, honouring his mother’s legacy and commitment to equity.

Frank’s life embodies the values of service, innovation, and justice. His vision for Canada champions progress, inclusion, and solutions that leave no one behind.

It’s time to choose real leadership. A vote for Frank is a vote for Prosperity, for all Canadians.

Mark Carney

Mark Carney was born in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Both of his parents were teachers. Growing up, he played hockey as a goalie for Laurier Heights, went to St. Francis Xavier high school, and won a scholarship to study in the United States.

He started his career in finance before joining Canada’s public service, to help ensure our economy supports the things that Canadians value – like healthcare, security, and a life you can afford.

As Governor of the Bank of Canada during the 2008 financial crisis, Mark guided Canada through one of the most turbulent economic periods in modern history, protecting jobs and helping ensure that Canada came out stronger.

In 2013, he was recruited to lead the Bank of England, stewarding the United Kingdom’s economy through Brexit and the economic and political crises that followed. And in 2019, he began serving as the UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance — helping rally the world to build stronger economies as we fight climate change.

Mark offers the proven leadership and real plan we need to deliver change for our party and our country, and to build the strongest economy in the G7.

We are a proud nation of builders — and now, it’s time to build.

Let’s build together.

Chrystia Freeland

Raised on a farm in Peace River, Alberta, Chrystia Freeland has never backed down from a fight.

As a journalist, she evaded Russian spies, covered the collapse of the Soviet Union, and exposed oligarchs, billionaires, and the economic policies that hollowed out the middle class around the world.

After watching Pierre Poilievre and Stephen Harper put those economic policies into action, she moved back to her adopted home of Toronto—three young kids in tow—and ran for public office in 2013.

Winning a contested nomination and competitive by-election, she then joined a third-place Liberal Party, in the back corner of the House of Commons, with a promise to fight for working Canadians.

When the Liberals formed government in 2015, Chrystia became Trade Minister, where she fought for Canadian jobs and saved Canada’s trade deal with the European Union.

After being appointed as Foreign Minister, she led Canada’s fight against Donald Trump to protect NAFTA, our trade deal with the United States and Mexico. A skilled negotiator who would be named Foreign Policy’s Diplomat of the Year in 2018, Chrystia became a personal target of Donald Trump—but secured a good deal for Canadians anyway.

When Trump imposed steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada in 2018, Chrystia fought back again—and she won again.

In 2019, Chrystia was named Deputy Prime Minister, where she led Canada’s pandemic response and protected Canadians and Canadian businesses from the largest recession since the Great Depression.

In 2020, she then became Finance Minister—the first woman in Canadian history to be entrusted with that role. As Finance Minister, Chrystia led Canada’s recovery from the COVID recession and delivered historic expansions of our social safety net, including $10-a-day childcare and affordable dental care for 9 million Canadians.

With Donald Trump preparing crushing tariffs on Canada and Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives ready to give in, our great country needs a leader who won’t back down.

Chrystia is running to be Leader of the Liberal Party as the next Prime Minister of Canada because she knows how to fight—and how to win.

Chrystia Freeland will fight for Canada—and Chrystia Freeland will fight for you.

Karina Gould

I believe the Liberal Party is about more than just its leader. It’s about the unrelenting hope, optimism, and grit that defines us as Canadians. It’s about knowing that you can achieve your dreams, no matter your background.

I’m a middle-class kid from Burlington, Ontario. My mom ran a veterinary clinic and my dad fought for our farmers. They taught me about hard work, passion, and tenacity. And they taught me to fight for the things I believe in.

I want you to have an affordable home, access to healthcare, good jobs, clean air and water, and confidence that you and your family are safe and secure. We need to take care of the most vulnerable and ensure our social safety net remains intact, while we grow our economy in a way that allows Canadians to prosper.

I am part of a generational shift in Canada and our Liberal Party needs to embrace this shift too. I am determined to rebuild the party and reconnect with Canadians. It is time for us to earn the trust of Canadians once again. I’m committed to providing you the opportunities you need to get ahead in this great country.

I’m ready to stand up for Canada, our economy, our jobs, and our values. I know that the Liberal Party needs a leader who will unite the country and protect your future.

I’m here for Canada and for you today, tomorrow and for years to come.
